WEEK-TV Hosted Tours
London, The Chelsea Flower Show and More
May 20, 2012-June 1, 2012
London, always a treat for all tastes, is where we begin on opening day at the world-renown Chelsea Flower Show. The Royal Horticultural Society held its first exhibition in 1862 featuring an array of exotic plant species from around the world and today it draws more than 150,000 visitors. Then a tour of all the storied sights of this great city will begin our travels around the country to Windsor Castle, the charming and rustic Cotswolds, Shakespeare's Stratfor-Upon-Avon, the ancient, half-timbered city of Chester, the beautiful Lake District (a magnet for famous authors) and finally the market towns and cities of Yorkshire, ending with a stay at the properties of Ripley Castle. Weatherman Lee Ranson will be your host.
